Dmitry Druzhinsky’s passion for real estate started in 2000, as he spearheaded the building of his personal home. He has since been behind the construction and sale of more than one hundred pieces of property. The co-founder of MatchPoint NYC, his vast knowledge in the acquisition and repositioning of land was instrumental to the completion of the revolutionary $20 million project. The on-going negotiation process with New York City’s Board of Standards and Appeals to be able to build upon the highly sought after three-acre lot only finalized after the businessman worked alongside the city to “de-map” a street that, although vacant for one hundred years, bisected one of the plots where the facility was to be built. Upon its completion, the center took the title for the biggest recreational complex of its kind anywhere in Brooklyn, and is the second largest throughout New York.
